CCTV NOTICE
WHO IS FILMING
The video surveillance system is used by TABOO MASTER S.R.L., as the controller of personal data, for the IKI LAND venue at Strada Speranței nr. 21-23, the town of Bragadiru, Ilfov County. The company has its registered office at the same address and tax identification number (CUI) RO33335193.
For questions or requests about video surveillance, you can contact us at contact.ikiland@gmail.com, on 0720 075 598 / 0737 318 935 or by submitting a written request at reception.
WHERE THE CAMERAS ARE
| Area | What is visible | Recorded |
|---|---|---|
| Entrances and exits | who enters and leaves the venue | yes |
| The playground | the play area and the children's table area | yes; the live image appears on the monitors next to the bar |
| The outdoor area | the access routes and the space where children play or move around | yes |
The restaurant dining room is not under video surveillance. On the terrace, the cameras point towards the access routes and the courtyard, not towards the tables. Any parts of public space or neighbouring properties that fall within the frame are masked in the system settings.
No cameras are installed in the kitchen, toilets, cloakrooms, baby-changing areas or staff rest areas. The system does not record sound and does not use facial recognition.
WHY WE FILM
- for the safety of the children in the playground and of everyone at the venue;
- to prevent and clarify incidents: accidents, conflicts, assaults, thefts;
- to protect the property of the venue and of clients;
- so that parents can watch their children in real time on the monitors next to the bar (details below).
- We do not use the images for advertising, for analysing customer behaviour for commercial purposes or for assessing employee performance.
ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS
Our legitimate interest in ensuring the safety of people and property (Art. 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR). For employees, the conditions in Art. 5 of Law no. 190/2018 implementing the GDPR also apply: employees are informed in writing before they start working in the monitored areas, and the cameras are not used to monitor their work.
We have assessed the necessity and proportionality of the video surveillance, as well as its impact on the rights and freedoms of the people filmed, paying particular attention to the protection of children. To limit this impact, the cameras cover only common areas, and recordings are kept for no more than 30 days, with automatic deletion.
REAL-TIME IMAGES FROM THE PLAYGROUND
Images from the playground are shown in real time on the monitors on the wall next to the bar, so that parents can see their children. This display is also based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is analysed separately in the data protection impact assessment (DPIA). The monitors only allow real-time viewing, with no access to stored recordings and no possibility of rewinding. They are positioned so that the images cannot be seen from outside the venue.
To protect children's privacy, please do not photograph or film the images shown on the monitors.
WHO SEES THE RECORDINGS
Within the company, access to recordings is restricted to authorised directors and takes place for specific reasons, such as checking an incident or dealing with a legal request. Every viewing and every copy extracted is logged in an internal register. Other recipients may have access in the situations described in the section “Who we disclose them to”.
HOW LONG WE KEEP THE RECORDINGS
Recordings are kept for a maximum of 30 days and are then deleted automatically, by overwriting. If a sequence is needed to check an incident or for ongoing proceedings, we keep only the relevant images separately, for as long as that purpose requires. The need to keep them is reviewed periodically, and the images are deleted when they are no longer needed, in compliance with the applicable legal obligations.
WHO WE DISCLOSE THEM TO
- authorities that request them under the conditions of the law (police, public prosecutor's office, court);
- the person filmed who exercises their right of access, or their legal representative, while protecting the rights and freedoms of other people captured in the images, including by blurring them where appropriate;
- the company that services the video system, only to the extent necessary to carry out technical work, under a contract that governs the processing of data in accordance with our instructions and sets out the confidentiality and security obligations.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under the conditions laid down by the GDPR, you may request access to the images in which you appear and a copy of them, erasure of the data or restriction of processing. You may also object to video surveillance on grounds relating to your particular situation. These rights may also be exercised through a legal representative, including in the case of children.
To help us identify the images, please state the date, the approximate time and the area in which you or your child were filmed.
Requests can be sent to contact.ikiland@gmail.com or submitted at reception. We reply free of charge, without undue delay, within one month at most. If we have reasonable doubts about the identity of the person making the request, we may ask for the additional information needed to verify it.
If you consider that the processing of your data infringes your rights, you may lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro, or apply to the competent courts. For all other personal data, please see the Privacy Policy, on iki-land.ro and at reception.
